Report
At the recent Australian Charity Law Association Conference, Murray Baird, Assistant Commissioner General Counsel ACNC, made a presentation foreshadowing the publication of the analysis of the 2013 financial year Annual Information Statement data.

The Curtin Charities 2013 Report has now been released and can be read here.

Invitation
On behalf of Commissioner Susan Pascoe AM, ACNC invites you to a series of events running throughout October in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. Taking an in-depth look into the recently released Curtin Charities 2013 Report, these events will give you as sector policy makers, researchers and leaders an insight into the importance of the report.

About the events
The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) is partnering with Curtin University, Governance Institute of Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand to take an in-depth look at the findings of the Curtin Charities 2013 Report.

Presenters
At each event, ACNC Commissioner Susan Pascoe AM and Curtin University’s Professor David Gilchrist will discuss the key findings and address the importance of collecting information about Australia’s charitable sector.
Each event will also feature a different industry leader, including Tessa Boyd-Cain (ACOSS) in Sydney, and Paul Ronalds (Save the Children) in Melbourne.
The events will conclude with a panel Q&A, and we invite questions from the audience. You’re welcome to send us questions in advance by email, or via Twitter.
